Applies instructional design principles, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and data-informed practices to promote meaningful integration of technology in online, hybrid, and face-to-face learning environments. Leads assigned projects, coordinates operational processes, and develops strategies and resources that enable effective adoption and use of academic technologies across the university.<br><br><strong>Core Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Leads the review of new digital tool proposals submitted through the Innovation Gateway by analyzing features, benchmarking against peer institutions, and preparing summary reports. Apply UT San Antonio’s evaluation framework, which considers instructional design principles, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), pedagogical alignment and related criteria, to ensure tools support meaningful teaching and learning outcomes. </li><li>Conducts in-depth research on emerging educational technologies to inform tool evaluation, roadmap planning, and alignment with institutional teaching and learning priorities. </li><li>Coordinates and implements academic technology initiatives across instructional modalities (in-person, hybrid, and online), including installation, vendor communication, scheduling, stakeholder logistics, troubleshooting, and collecting feedback. </li><li>Leads or contributes to projects that support the strategic use of academic technologies within colleges and departments, including initiatives related to the Learning Management System (LMS) and other enterprise tools. </li><li>Develops, maintains, and refines training materials and resources across course modalities for students, faculty, and staff.
