Accounts Assistant - full time

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team in providing administrative support and maintaining efficient office operations. The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills and be proficient in various office tasks.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Provide general administrative support such as filing, copying, and scanning documents
- Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain office organisation by managing supplies and ensuring tidiness
- Utilise computerised systems for scheduling appointments and managing records
- Proficient in Google Suite applications for document creation and collaboration
- Type correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed
- Assist with clerical duties including mail distribution and record-keeping
- Familiarity with QuickBooks for basic accounting tasks

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in an office environment or similar role
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to computerise tasks for increased efficiency
- Proficiency in Google Suite applications
- Typing speed and accuracy
- Knowledge of clerical procedures and office management
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
