Analog Devices Inc., Chelmsford Massachusetts facility is looking for multiple Manufacturing Electro-Mechanical Assembly Operators to support 2nd Shift in our continued growth in the manufacture of high-performance microwave modules and sub-systems. Customers trust Analog Devices to deliver integrated electronics, and ADI is interested in energetic and organized team players that want to deliver quality products in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- US Citizenship and able/willing to obtain a government security clearance.
- Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions/documentation.
- Good computer skills
- 1 to 3-years working as a Micro assembly/Mechanical assembly preferred or related experience.
- High school diploma/GED required. A diploma from a Vocational High School or Technical Diploma is a plus.
Shifts:
Monday - Friday
2nd: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM EST
3rd: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM EST
This is a hands-on nightshift position that requires a strong ability to work on delicate parts utilizing a microscope.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Ability to work 8 hours under the microscope utilizing miniaturized hand tools such as tweezers and fine screwdrivers.
- In-process inspection and self-inspection.
- Hand solder components, wires, and jumpers into the assemblies per IPC-610.
- Assemble and/or solder electronic components to printed circuit boards.
- MMIC Die attach of chip components using silver epoxy.
- Hybrid circuit assemblies using silver epoxy and solder.
- Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets, prints and drawings.
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
- Good computer skills are required to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions, as well as other job activities.
- Hand assembly using a variety of tools and or equipment according to specifications/process
- Use Loctite, epoxy, and other compounds as required by the assembly process steps
- Handle of ESD sensitive material and equipment
- Willing to be cross-trained and perform other related duties as required.
- Good dexterity, eye / hand coordination.
- Demonstrate a keen awareness of safety practices and familiarity with OSHA standards.
- Ensure work areas are kept neat, clean, and organized per company guideline.
- Must maintain a very good attendance record.
