About the position
The position focuses on ensuring the safety of teams through teamwork and collaboration, with a commitment to raising near misses on time and achieving a 100% closure rate. The role involves adhering to strict hygiene standards and operational protocols to maintain high-quality beer production. Responsibilities include basic lab operations, meeting production plans, managing brewery operations, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of teams through teamwork and collaboration, raising near misses on time with a 100% closure rate.
- Follow strict hygiene standards and report any out-of-specification processes.
- Conduct basic lab operations, including yeast counts and diacetyl testing.
- Meet plan attainment on time in full and report any deviations.
- Perform all necessary brewery operations, including brewhouse, cellar management, and bright beer filtration.
- Conduct problem-solving and contribute to continuous improvement programs.
- Manage inventory of all raw materials, chemicals, and goods receipting upon delivery.
- Manage waste streams created by brewing processes.
- Load and unload materials and finished goods safely using a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT).
- Complete all physical and digital paper trails and movements OTIF, maintaining high traceability standards.
- Keep all brewing areas clean and tidy in line with hygiene routines.
- Participate in all VPO routines, including 5S, creating and updating SOPs and OPLs, pillar meetings, and PDCA cycles.
- Follow SKAP.
- Assist the engineering team in fault finding and diagnosis on brewing plant.
Requirements
