Eden – The Female Business Collective is a premium membership community for ambitious female professionals and founders. We create powerful rooms, meaningful connections, and business growth opportunities through curated membership and high-level events.

We are building something intentional, elevated and commercially strong, and we are now seeking a confident, well-connected Business Development Assistant to help us grow.

The Role

This is a revenue-generating, commission-based, self-employed opportunity.

As Business Development Assistant, you will be the face and voice of Eden in the marketplace, actively attracting high-calibre female professionals into our membership and driving ticket sales for our curated events.

This is not an administrative role.
This is a proactive sales and relationship-building position for a highly social, commercially minded individual.

Key Responsibilities

Membership Sales

  • Proactively identify and approach aligned female professionals
  • Conduct outreach via LinkedIn, Instagram, email and in-person networking
  • Communicate Eden’s value clearly and confidently
  • Handle objections professionally
  • Close membership sales
  • Generate and manage your own sales pipeline

Event Revenue Generation

  • Promote Eden events to qualified prospects
  • Drive traffic to our event booking pages
  • Follow up with interested leads
  • Increase attendance through strategic outreach

Networking & Brand Representation

  • Attend agreed networking events across Dorset/Hampshire
  • Represent Eden professionally and confidently
  • Generate and capture new leads
  • Follow up within 48 hours
  • Build referral relationships with aligned businesses
  • Head up Eden events in the absence of the founder (paid where necessary)

You will be expected to embody the Eden brand: polished, intentional and professional at all times.

Partnership & Sponsor Sourcing

  • Identify and approach aligned brand partners
  • Source sponsors for higher-ticket events
  • Build ‘Partner Perks’ relationships
  • Present collaboration opportunities to the Founder

Reporting & Accountability

  • Provide weekly updates on outreach, leads and revenue generated
  • Log all leads and trackable activity
  • Operate with clear performance ownership

This role is performance-led and results-driven.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will be:

  • A warm, highly social and confident people person
  • A genuine cheerleader for women in business
  • Well-connected within Dorset/Hampshire (or actively building a strong network)
  • Commercially minded and confident in sales
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Professional, polished and well-presented
  • Comfortable operating in a commission-driven structure

Experience in sales, partnerships, networking or business development is advantageous.

An initial 4-month review period will apply.

What Success Looks Like

Within 4 months:

  • Active pipeline established
  • Proven membership sales
  • Measurable event revenue contribution

Within 6 months:

  • Predictable monthly revenue generation
  • Strategic partnerships secured
  • Recognised ambassador for Eden

There is large scope for growth within this role, with the potential of additional hours and development within an even more integral part of the business.
