Company Overview Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. is a Fortune 500 industrial gas company and one of the world’s largest hydrogen producers, delivering safe end-to-end industrial gas solutions and clean energy projects. The Middletown, OH facility produces and distributes liquid nitrogen, oxygen, argon, and bulk helium and hydrogen throughout the Midwest. Key Responsibilities - Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs as necessary on over-the-road Class A tractors, tanker trailers and tube trailers. - Document and record work performed electronically using a computer-based maintenance system. - Perform road repairs when necessary. - Perform electrical and electronic repairs on tractors and trailers. - Ensure the fleet is in compliance with DOT regulations. - Document and record Hazmat and OSHA requirements. Required Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent and strong diesel maintenance and repair experience. - Strong mechanical background with some computer experience/skills. - Electrical troubleshooting skills on 12-volt DC circuits. - Diesel engine troubleshooting and repair experience. - Self-motivated and capable of working independently; able to work overtime depending on business needs. - Stable employment work history. Preferred Qualifications - Welding knowledge and experience preferred but not required.
