We are the largest crude oil producer in Alaska and have major ownership interests in the Prudhoe Bay, Kuparuk and Western North Slope asset areas. Additionally, we are one of Alaska’s largest owners of state, federal and fee exploration leases, with approximately one million net undeveloped acres at year-end 2024. Alaska operations contributed 14 percent of our consolidated liquids production and two percent of our consolidated natural gas production.Position OverviewConocoPhillips Alaska anticipates hiring Electrical Maintenance Technicians throughout 2026 due to normal attrition. Strong communication skills and proficiency with computer-based maintenance management systems are essential. This role offers the opportunity to work as a journeyman electrician while developing advanced skills for career progression.Your responsibilities may include:Maintain and troubleshoot heavy-duty industrial electrical systems, including: Generators, motors, switchgear, protective relays; Fire/gas detection and suppression systems; UPS systems, variable speed drives, heat tracing systemsPerform general maintenance, repairs, and preventive tasksInstall electrical equipment and cable systems in hazardous/classified areasConduct functional checkout and commissioning of new equipmentUse electrical test and calibration tools effectivelyFollow all safety protocols and wear required PPE (e.g., FR clothing, hard hat, safety glasses, boots, hearing protection)Actively participate in company safety programsCollaborate with diverse teams in a dynamic work environmentCompany CultureAt ConocoPhillips Alaska, safety and integrity are at the heart of everything we do.
