Engineering, Analyst

The Engineering Analyst is responsible for providing technical expertise in engineering problem solving activities and ensuring compliance with safety analyses and regulatory requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare nuclear safety analyses and engineering evaluations independently and support Configuration management programs
  • Perform engineering and technical tasks in support of nuclear plant operations
  • Assure all engineering products prepared are in accordance with applicable procedures, safety analyses, industry codes, and all regulatory requirements
  • Support engineering work functions
  • Participate in the implementation of effective processes and techniques at appropriate levels of detail and in compliance with established programs, policies and procedures

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (non-engineer) and 2 years of nuclear or related industry experience OR
  • Associate's degree in a technical field and 3 years of nuclear or related industry experience OR
  • High school diploma/GED and a minimum of 5 years of nuclear experience
  • Working knowledge of engineering processes and systems required for the specific functional area
  • Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
  • Must meet additional requirements as outlined in ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard, 'Selection, Qualification, and Training of Personnel for Nuclear Power Plants'
