Manager, Digital Content Designer, Global - Converse

Our Global Digital Content & Design team creates strategic and distinct digital experiences that drive both the brand and business forward. From concepting and planning to executing photo & video shoots, our team brings creative vision and leadership to a diverse range of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working under the direction of the Director, Global Digital Content, strategize and concept all aspects of content creation that fuel our digital experiences across Converse.com, email campaigns, social media (paid and organic), and other media channels.
  • Own the entire process from concepting (inclusive of strategy, storytelling & copy, and vision) through post-production to deliver final still photography and motion/video assets.
  • Lead product and lifestyle shoots on-set as the art director, collaborating with product teams, talent, photographers/videographers, producers, and other photoshoot staff.
  • Create seasonal product storytelling and style-led editorial content, managing a high volume of product and on-body imagery each season.
  • Manage mid and junior level creatives, delegating tasks and providing creative inspiration and oversight to their day-to-day work.
  • Effectively articulate concept decks and pitch ideas to internal teams, senior leadership, and external partners, including those in the energy and influencer marketing spaces.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that grow the brand and business, including creating frameworks for engagement with creative partners.
  • Partner with Project Managers/Producers and Experience Strategists to develop comprehensive briefs and execute high-quality work while meeting deadlines and budgets.
  • Be willing to take creative risks to balance exceptional creative outputs with the practical needs of the business.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or design-related equivalent.
  • 6+ years' experience in digital design and art direction for large retail e-commerce or key digital agency experience.
  • Specific experience in the streetwear footwear/apparel industry is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Suite, Frame.io, and other post-production software.
  • Deep understanding of animation, video editing, and photo retouching processes.
  • Passion for digital marketing with strong knowledge of digital commerce, performance marketing, A/B testing, and social media platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing work priorities and adapt to changes.
  • Familiarity with project tracking tools such as Asana or Trello.
  • A strong connection to culture, trends, and style.
  • Understanding of current digital content and design trends for e-commerce.
  • People management experience along with excellent writing and communication skills.
