<h2> About the Role:</h2><p>We’re looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to play a key role in delivering high-quality, remote care for patients with long-term conditions across the UK. Working from home, you’ll manage your own clinic and collaborate closely with Suvera’s multidisciplinary clinical team to support and optimise treatment in a Primary Care setting.</p><p>As part of our growing healthtech startup, you’ll contribute to a new model of care that blends clinical expertise with innovative technology. This is a high-impact role where your day-to-day work directly supports better outcomes for patients managing chronic conditions. You’ll report to our Clinical Operations Lead, with supervision from our Clinical Lead.</p><p>At Suvera, we’re constantly evolving. While this job description outlines the key elements of the role, flexibility is essential as responsibilities may adapt as the service grows and you’ll be supported by a collaborative and mission-driven team every step of the way.</p><p>This either a <strong>part-time</strong> (20 hours per week) or<strong> full time</strong> (40 hours per week)<strong>fully remote position</strong>offers a salary of <strong>£27-£33k pro-rata,</strong> depending on experience and qualifications plus <strong>32 days holiday + bank holidays</strong>. We are a diverse team of about 67 people, including clinicians, care advisors, and experts across various disciplines.</p><p>Backed by <a href=\"#\"><strong>Google for Startups</strong></a> and <a href=\"#\"><strong>Morningside Ventures</strong></a>, Suvera is poised to become a global leader in healthcare.<br></p><h2> What you\'ll be doing :</h2><h2>Clinical Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Record and manage patient health data in Suvera’s Dashboard and GP Practice systems.</li><li>Interpret and stratify clinical risk data in line with SOPs</li><li>Provide lifestyle advice around smoking, alcohol, diet, and exercise</li><li>Communicate and collaborate with the wider clinical team as needed</li><li>Refer complex cases promptly to the appropriate clinician</li><li>Support clinical governance, audit participation, and patient safety processes</li><li>Reviewing clinical letters and completing medicine reconciliation</li><li>Review patient information using clinical judgement to identify needs, address concerns, and ensure safe, effective care — including lifestyle advice and referrals where appropriate. Focus areas include NDH, hypertension, asthma, and hypercholesterolaemia.</li><li>Gain informed consent for medication changes, provide patient education and counselling on prescribed medicines, including advice on adherence and managing side effects.</li><li>Ensuring appropriate tests are ordered and completed by patients.</li><li>Identifying and resolving medicine related queries, ensuring safe prescribing practice and adherence to NICE guidelines.</li><li>Support in the processing of medicine requests, ensuring accuracy, appropriate monitoring, and alignment with formulary and prescribing guidelines.</li></ul><h2>Non-Clinical / Administrative Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and safety at all times</li><li>Onboard patients into Suvera’s Virtual Clinic</li><li>Build and maintain trust-based relationships with patients</li><li>Document clinical notes accurately in Suvera and partner GP systems</li><li>Support QOF (Quality Outcomes Framework) recall and follow-up activity</li><li>Collaborate with operations and admin teams as needed</li><li>Contribute to audits, reporting, and service improvements</li><li>Participate in shared learning sessions with Suvera and GP partners</li><li>Support continuous development of Suvera’s internal systems and workflows</li><li>Fulfil other administrative duties as required</li><li>Stay up to date with all mandatory and role-specific training</li><li>Attend regular internal and external meetings as agreed with your line manager</li><li>Join multidisciplinary team meetings to review significant clinical events and reflect on practice</li></ul><h2>Training & Development</h2><ul><li>Engage fully in Suvera’s training programmes and annual appraisal process</li><li>Take ownership of personal and professional development</li><li>Share knowledge and mentor others undertaking similar roles when appropriate</li></ul><h2> We\'re looking for someone who</h2><p><strong>Must have:</strong></p><ul><li>Currently working as a Pharmacy Technician within NHS and have <strong>more than 12 months experience in this role</strong></li><li>Completed a two-year accredited pharmacy technician course involving a mix of practical work experience and study via GPhC-accredited courses, GPhC-recognised qualifications or a GPhC approved apprenticeship pathways</li><li>Acts professionally and ethically at all times</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication</li><li>Confident speaking with patients via email, phone, messaging or video</li><li>Tech-savvy – familiar with EMIS Web, SystmOne, and Microsoft Office</li><li>Follows SOPs and policies with care and consistency</li></ul><p><strong>Nice to haves:</strong></p><ul><li>Previous experience working for a digital healthcare provider</li><li>Completion of CPPE Primary Care pharmacy education pathway</li></ul><p><strong>About you:</strong></p><ul><li>You bring humanity and kindness into every interaction, making people feel heard, respected, and supported.</li><li>You\'re genuinely excited about transforming the future of healthcare for people living with long-term conditions and want your work to matter.</li><li>You stay composed and focused, even when things get busy.
