Quality Engineer I

Job Description As a Quality Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to our customers. You will report directly to our Quality Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Kanata, Ontario location. In this role, you will impact the overall quality of our products by identifying areas for improvement, conducting audits, and implementing corrective actions to enhance product reliability and performance. Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES <ul><li>Support the quality assurance processes by conducting product and process audits to identify areas for improvement.</li><li>Implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues and enhance product quality.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality standards and metrics that align with organizational objectives.</li><li>Participate in internal and external quality audits.</li><li>Management of nonconforming materials and prepares evaluation reports, analyzes discrepancies, makes recommendations for and initiates the most cost-effective</li><li>Interface with supplier quality, customer quality and other teams in finding resolution to concerning problems with quality assurance and assure that effective corrective actions are implemented. </li></ul>Qualifications The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment.
