Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) has an opening for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our intensive care unit (ICU) staff. We are in need of individuals who are empathetic and focused on the well-being of patients, as well as driven by a sense of purpose, seeking to apply their clinical expertise in a rapidly changing environment. Recent nursing graduates are invited to put themselves forward for consideration.
Critical Care Registered Nurses are indispensable healthcare providers tasked with caring for the most severely ill patients. In addition to administering high-quality medical aid, they also offer comfort and emotional support to patients and their families during both difficult and joyful moments.
Position Specifics:
- Department: ICU
- Core Function: Nursing
- Schedule: FT Nights (3x12 5:45pm-6:15am) with every other weekend rotation
- Facility: St. Mary's Hospital
- Clinic Location: Decatur, IL
- Sign-On Bonus: $20,000

Education Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
- Bachelor’s of science in nursing is preferred.
Experience Qualifications
- Critical Care Nursing experience is preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
- The state of Wisconsin requires RNs to have a valid license, which may include a multi-state RN license under the guidelines specified in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is an essential skill that must be acquired.
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP qualifications are essential as per the patient cohort in the specialized field of work.
- The favored certifications are those that specialize in patient populations, like Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN).
