Position Overview

Haggan Aviation is seeking a highly experienced Aircraft A&P Technician to support inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities within our FAA Part 145 Repair Station. This role is intended for a technician with strong Commercial Aviation platform familiarity who can work independently, maintain schedule discipline, and consistently deliver high-quality maintenance outcomes.

The successful candidate will demonstrate deep technical knowledge of Lear, Hawker, Citation and Gulfstream aircraft systems, strong documentation practices, and effective communication within a fast-paced MRO environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on aircraft in accordance with approved data and company procedures
  • Execute airframe and powerplant inspections while maintaining quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance
  • Accurately document discrepancies, corrective actions, and maintenance entries in work orders and maintenance records
  • Communicate inspection findings, labor requirements, and job status with the Maintenance Supervisor and Customer Service Representatives
  • Provide accurate labor input to support inspection quotes and discrepancy evaluations
  • Analyze inspection findings and advise management of scope changes as required
  • Ensure all maintenance actions comply with FAA regulations, Repair Station Manual, Quality Control Manual, and internal procedures
  • Verify technical manuals are current and applicable prior to performing work
  • Properly handle, preserve, and protect aircraft parts and components throughout the maintenance process
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Ensure proper tool control and calibration compliance
  • Provide effective shift turnover and project status updates
  • Support training and mentoring of other technicians as needed
  • Work overtime as required to meet operational and project deadlines
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations

Required Qualifications

  • Active FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate
  • Significant hands-on experience with Lear, Hawker, Citation and Gulfstream aircraft
  • Minimum 8–10 years of corporate aviation maintenance experience preferred
  • Formal OEM-related training (FlightSafety, SimuFlite, Global, or equivalent preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of Part 145 repair station operations and documentation
  • Demonstrated proficiency in airframe and engine inspections
  • Proficiency with inspection tooling and maintenance documentation
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to pass FAA-required drug and alcohol screening and random testing
  • Ability to complete and pass all internal training and manual examinations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a high-volume MRO environment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for all GA or Commercial Aircraft
  • Familiarity with customer-facing maintenance coordination
  • Prior return-to-service or inspection sign-off experience

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
