As our funding portfolio grows, we are investing in stronger internal systems to support long-term sustainability, compliance excellence, and smart financial stewardship.</p><p>We’re building infrastructure that matches our mission.</p>Why This Role Matters<p>This role is central to ensuring that every grant dollar is strategically planned, properly monitored, and fully compliant.</p><p>You won’t just “manage grants.”</p><p> You’ll help shape how we budget, forecast, track, and sustain the funding that powers our Clubs.</p><p>If you’re someone who enjoys both the precision of compliance and the strategy behind sustainable funding, this role gives you the opportunity to make a visible, organization-wide impact.</p>What You’ll Do<p><strong>Pre-Award Budget Strategy</strong></p><ul><li>Develop detailed, compliant grant budgets aligned with program design</li><li>Build salary, fringe, and cost allocation models</li><li>Assess financial feasibility and long-term sustainability</li><li>Provide strong financial narratives to support proposals</li></ul><p><strong>Post-Award Monitoring & Forecasting</strong></p><ul><li>Track budget-to-actuals and monitor burn rates</li><li>Develop monthly and quarterly financial projections</li><li>Recommend and prepare budget modifications (GANs)</li><li>Identify overspend/underspend risks early and proactively</li></ul><p><strong>Compliance & Financial Reporting</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and foundation requirements</li><li>Review expenditures for allowability and alignment</li><li>Oversee payroll allocations and documentation</li><li>Prepare reimbursement requests and financial reports</li><li>Maintain audit-ready grant files and documentation</li></ul><p><strong>Collaboration & Capacity Building</strong></p><ul><li>Partner with Finance, Resource Development, and Program teams</li><li>Train staff on grant compliance and budget management</li><li>Strengthen SOPs and grant management systems</li></ul>What Success Looks Like<ul><li>Grants are paced appropriately with no last-minute spend-down pressure</li><li>Financial risks are identified early — not after the fact</li><li>Program teams understand their budgets and funding restrictions</li><li>Reporting is timely, accurate, and audit-ready</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field</li><li>4–6 years of nonprofit grants management experience</li><li>Experience managing government and foundation grants</li><li>Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel skills</li><li>Knowledge of cost allocation and indirect rate methodologies</li><li>Ability to translate financial concepts to non-finance staff</li></ul><li><br></li>
