Warehouse Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a Warehouse Worker to join our team in managing inventory and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling materials, operating machinery, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace.

Duties
- Stocking shelves and ensuring proper placement of items
- Utilising Warehouse Management Systems to track inventory
- Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
- Loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles
- Handling materials with care to prevent damage
- Demonstrating mechanical knowledge for equipment operation
- Operating forklifts to move goods within the warehouse
- Conducting quality control checks on incoming and outgoing shipments
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks when required

Strictly adhere to all Health and Safety procedures and ensure that the working environment is practical for both yourself and others

And any other reasonable duties commensurate with the post, which may be allocated from time to time.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems is desirable
- Capability to handle physical demands including heavy lifting
- Forklift certification is a plus

- IT literate, specifically Excel, Outlook and Word
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential

Pay: £27,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
